When ever we attend various expos, networking events and other places. We usually end up collecting pile of promotional products – sun hat, stress balls, Frisbee's, yo-yo's and similar toys (Yes correct, Looks like my kids toy box)
Added to the collection in the bottom of the boys toy boxes, I have a collection of mugs and pens from different companies. These don't end up in the toy box – they get used.
Which brings me to the point of this post. If you are creating promotional products for your business, create something that is useful and will get used. This way your logo or message is not ending up in the bottom of a toy box!
Some ideas for useful products are mugs, promotional pens and promotional caps, although it is possible to have too many magnets on the fridge.
When you are really choosing something for your clients, so that they keep it long term(ask yourself following 2 questions)
- Think of your target market
- What they will use ? & why they will use?
So next time you are selecting or deciding on something to create as a promotional product, put some thought into it and come up with something that is useful.
